Processing Lumber for the Off-Grid Stone Hut, Wilderness Homestead Ep. 08.

Hello everyone! This is the eighth part of the renovation process of the old stone hut from 1957. You will see the process of sanding old oak beams and coating them with polyurethane varnish to protect the wood. I will also show you how I processed and prepared the wood I plan to incorporate into the house. Towards the end of this episode, I installed a surveillance camera charged by a solar panel and running on a SIM card. The camera is completely independent, has a motion sensor, and allows me to monitor my forest home when I’m not present. I might catch a wild animal snooping around or maybe an intruder.
